Data protection management

While it is the task of the appointed Data Protection Officers to monitor and advise the company or the management in implementing the data protection requirements, the Data Protection Officer will not make any concrete decisions on the measure.

According to the law, the Data Protection Officers are not entitled to the concrete implementation of the GDPR project or the effective decision on data protection procedures. We have therefore developed the position of the external Data Protection Manager who will oversee the implementation of the data protection measures.

The implementation of your data protection

BHO Consulting GmbH supports you in the implementation of the data protection regulations in your company and in the effective implementation of the data protection requirements. While it is the task of the appointed Data Protection Officers to monitor the company or the management in the implementation of the data protection requirements and to provide advice, the DPD will not make a concrete decision on the measure.

According to the law, the Data Protection Officers are not entitled to implement the GDPR project in practice or to make effective decisions on data protection procedures. Therefore, we have developed the position of the external Data Protection Manager, who will supervise the concrete implementation of the data protection measures.

Thanks to our many years of experience in the management and consulting of data protection projects, we are able to combine our data protection experience into a new type of consulting service. As Data Protection Manager, we can check and evaluate the recommendations of the Data Protection Officer or other consultants and make concrete recommendations for action. Although the final decision on a particular course of action remains with the management, the recommendation of concrete steps and evaluation of the actual course of action cannot be made by the Data Protection Officer. This is where we come in as Data Protection Managers, filling the gap left by the GDPR.

We advise you on the concrete implementation of data protection measures, in particular through the following activities:

– evaluation and making concrete recommendations to the management in all questions concerning data protection law

– preparation of Executive Board documents on the implementation of data protection requirements

– implementation of the data protection impact assessment

– contact point for the management in all questions concerning data protection.
