Bernhard Haungs is a certified Data Protection Officer (GDDcert) and specializes in the operational implementation of data protection regulations and IT security in companies. He was the internal Data Protection Officer of an internationally operating industrial company for over 15 years and was responsible for the Europe-wide implementation of its data protection organization. Previously, Mr. Haungs was the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) with global responsibility at the same company and set up the ISMS according to ISO27001 in several national organizations.

His main areas of expertise as a consultant include the implementation of internal regulations and data protection requirements, the performance of GAP analyses of information security, the creation and updating of the register of processing activities and training of data protection officers in the company as well as the implementation of ISMS in companies.
